AMS is a world-leading independent developer and manufacturer of innovative tissue-healing technology, focused on quality outcomes for patients and value for payers. AMS has a wide range of surgical products including tissue adhesives, sutures, haemostats, internal fixation devices and internal sealants, which it markets under its brands LiquiBand®, RESORBA®, LiquiBandFix8®, LIQUIFIX™, Peters Surgical, Ifabond, Vitalitec, and Seal-G®. Since 2019, the Group has made seven acquisitions: Sealantis, an Israeli developer of innovative internal sealants, Biomatlante, a French developer and manufacturer of surgical biomaterials, Raleigh, a leading UK coater and converter of woundcare and bio-diagnostics materials, AFS Medical, an Austrian specialist surgical business, Connexicon, an Irish tissue adhesives specialist, Syntacoll, a German specialist in collagen-based absorbable surgical implants, and Peters Surgical, a global provider of specialty surgical sutures, mechanical haemostasis, and internal cyanoacrylate devices.
AMS's products, manufactured in the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Thailand, India, the Czech Republic, and Israel, are sold globally via a network of multinational or regional partners and distributors, as well as via AMS's own direct sales forces in the UK, Germany, Austria, France, Poland, Benelux, India, the Czech Republic, and Russia. The Group has R&D innovation hubs in the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, and Israel.

Job Description
Job details:
- Always undertake duties in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Deliver 100% achievement of the production plan by ensuring material yield and machine availability is optimized.
- To provide excellent levels of customer service always.
- To ensure that products are produced “right, first time every time”.
- To ensure that a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to the company health and safety and environment policies and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation.
What the role will involve:
- Complete short interval control, to resolve issues that are impacting performance or alternatively escalate where issues are unable to be resolved without support.
- Comply to Raleigh’s Quality standards.
- Support technical trials and projects.
- Continuously challenge the status quo in relation to lost time and material losses.
- Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement.
- Maintain 5’s standards within the workplace.
- Work to VODS.
- Attend scheduled meetings on time.
- Service as and when requested to do so by your Shift Leader.
- Support your work colleagues and Shift Leader.
- Ensure all Safety concerns are raised with your immediate Manager.
- Complete tasks in line with documented risk assessments.
- Take part in corporate employee initiatives such as Team days.
- Operate machinery as per the Standard Operating procedures.
- Ensure hourly performance is monitored and recorded.
- Identify and correct product quality issues.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Complete cleaning tasks as per standard operating procedures.
- Record production data that ensures full product traceability.

What we’re looking for:
- Be aware of and adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other associated duties which may occasionally arise.
- Educated to GCSE level 9 to 5 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel.
- PPT, and PPT Lift truck licenses.
- Overhead crane training certificate.
- Good communication skills with the ability to relay information at a level relevant to the audience.
- Experience of cleanroom operations.
