They have an unrivalled capability with their machine shop. This side of the business is integral to the success of the business and they invest heavily in it.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring fresh ideas and leadership to the Machine Shop.

You’ll lead a talented production team, driving operational excellence, safety, and efficiency through innovation, change management and lean manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the machine shop team to deliver on-time, high-quality components.
- Implement modern manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage CNC machining and grinding operations, ensuring best practice across all production areas.
- Monitor and improve KPIs for quality, delivery, and cost.
- Support CAPEX projects, equipment upgrades, and process innovation.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience managing a machine shop or precision engineering environment.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, grinding, materials, and modern manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives.
- Confident communicator able to lead a team of 25+ staff.
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
