Join Our Growing Machine Vision Team

Are you passionate about technology, automation, and solving real-world challenges? Do you enjoy combining technical problem-solving with hands-on implementation and software development?

At Peak, we're expanding our Machine Vision capability and are looking for a talented Machine Vision Engineer to join our growing team. This is a varied role that combines software development, system configuration, customer engagement, and solution deployment to deliver innovative machine vision applications across the retail and logistics sectors.

You'll work directly with customers to understand their operational challenges, helping design, develop, install, and support solutions that make a genuine difference to their businesses. No two projects are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys both technical development and practical implementation.

You'll need to be comfortable balancing technical development with customer interaction and be confident in identifying the best technology to solve business challenges.

We're looking for someone who enjoys thinking beyond the obvious solution and has the curiosity to explore new technologies that create value for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and implementing machine vision solutions for retail and logistics environments.
  • Developing software applications and integrations that support customer requirements.
  • Configuring cameras, vision systems, and associated hardware.
  • Working directly with customers to understand operational challenges and define technical solutions.
  • Conducting testing and validation to ensure systems perform reliably in real-world environments.
  • Deploying and commissioning solutions both remotely and on customer sites.
  • Creating technical documentation, user guides, and installation procedures.
  • Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed systems.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to assess project requirements, timescales, and solution costs.
  • Researching and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance our solution offering.
  • Driving continuous improvement through customer feedback and innovation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
