Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Chipping Ongar for a Machinist. The Machinist will be responsible for:
- Operating machinery, preferably with manual machining capability & experience
- Operating machinery such as a boring bar, honing machine, crankshaft grinder, line-borer, surface grinders as well as Mills & Lathes
- Re-manufacturing and salvaging engine componentry and maintaining equipment

Qualifications

- Experience in operating machinery and working to tight tolerances in both imperial and metric
- Ability to precisely machine component parts to salvage and repair, and maintain equipment
- Knowledge of manual machining tools and techniques including using micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically able and manual dexterity
- Certification or training in machining is a plus
- Further Mathematics / Engineering qualifications or experience / equivalent
