M.J. Bale is Australia’s foremost gentlemen’s clothier, manufacturing garments of integrity for men of character. Job Description
About the job
M.J. Bale is opening its first UK store on Jermyn Street, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Sales Associate with a specialisation in Made-to-Measure (MTM) to help launch it.
Founded in Australia in 2009, M.J. Bale creates garments of integrity, from Tasmanian wool growers and Italian weavers to Japanese tailors. We are a certified B Corp, Official Tailor to the Australian Test cricket side, the Wallabies and the Socceroos, and have more than 80 stores across Australia.
Now, we’re bringing that standard to London.
About The Role
This is first and foremost a Senior Sales Associate role, with MTM as your specialism.
You’ll be a senior presence on the shop floor, delivering exceptional service, building a loyal client base and helping set the tone for our new Jermyn Street store.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
