- Conduct structured, multichannel prospecting activities to identify new opportunities and secure high-quality new-logo meetings for senior Business Development Directors.
- Build and nurture a sustainable sales pipeline by maintaining appropriate engagement with prospects throughout complex, long-term sales cycles.
- Develop professional networks through LinkedIn, industry events and other relevant channels to create new commercial relationships and market opportunities.
- Map existing client organisations, identify additional stakeholders and uncover opportunities to increase revenue through cross-selling, upselling and land-and-expand activities.
- Build trusted client relationships that support account satisfaction, engagement, retention, contract renewal and sustainable revenue growth.
- Lead client implementation projects, maintaining project plans, conducting progress meetings and coordinating internal and external stakeholders to deliver requirements on time and to a high standard.
- Monitor accounts after launch, resolve or escalate client issues, maintain accurate process records and support recurring activities such as reporting, contracting, invoicing, Salesforce administration and quarterly account reviews.
- Develop and deliver client-facing materials and training for sales, claims and underwriting audiences, working with Marketing, Operations and other internal specialists where appropriate.

- Demonstrated experience researching prospects, conducting multichannel outreach and developing new-logo opportunities.
- Experience building and nurturing prospects through complex or extended sales cycles without creating unnecessary or excessive contact.
- Proven ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through account mapping, stakeholder engagement, cross-selling and upselling.
- Experience managing complex internal and external stakeholder groups to deliver client outcomes and resolve problems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
