Role Description
As a Magazine Intern at Global Safety Summit, you will support the creation and coordination of content for ESG & EHS focused publications and related media. This volunteer, hybrid role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility to work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

- Contacting the VPs / CXOs of large enterprises to collect content
- Assisting with editorial planning
- Providing drafts to the editing team for proofreading articles
- Inviting CXOs for CXO Dialogue interviewing sessions
- Researching trends in health, safety, and corporate responsibility

Your main function will be connecting with industries and sourcing content to support magazine and digital publication needs. The role will involve:
- Collaborating with the editorial and communications teams
- Collaborating with Business Development Team
- Supporting distribution or promotional efforts for WSF online magazine issues and special features
Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in magazines and publications, including communication skills to find new stories
- Ability to contribute to sales or outreach efforts related to magazine subscriptions, advertising space, or partner features, indirectly by bringing organic content in the website
- Research skills to gather information, verify facts, and develop story ideas relevant to safety, sustainability, and industry trends
- Experience in managing the LinkedIn contacts and sending outreach emails
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and meet agreed deadlines
- Interest in health, safety, ESG, Sustainability, Clean AI, CSR, or related fields; prior experience in student media, blogs, or campus publications is a plus
- Currently studying or recently graduated in journalism, communications, media, English, or a related discipline is preferred but not required
- British Citizens are preferred, as no VISA support provided
