Senior Magento Backend Developer
Mid/ Senior Level | Remote | UK | Permanent | Competitive Salary
Are you the kind of developer who enjoys solving complex backend challenges rather than simply building features?
We're partnered with a growing digital consultancy delivering enterprise Magento solutions for recognised brands across retail and e-commerce. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Senior Magento Backend Developer to take ownership of backend delivery across multiple client projects.
This is an opportunity to join a highly technical team where quality, clean architecture and long-term engineering standards are genuinely valued.
What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining Magento 2 applications.
- Developing scalable backend functionality using PHP 8.
- Designing and consuming GraphQL APIs.
- Leading technical delivery across client projects.
- Optimising performance and scalability.
- Working closely with frontend developers, designers, and project managers.
- Supporting code reviews and mentoring other developers.
- Helping shape engineering standards and best practices.
