Role Description
The Mailchimp Email Marketing Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in Loughborough. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and deploying email campaigns in Mailchimp to promote personalized sporting products and seasonal offers. Day-to-day tasks include:

The specialist will monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and recommend improvements to increase engagement and conversions. Collaboration with the marketing and sales teams is expected to align email content with broader promotional strategies and brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong email marketing software skills, ideally with hands-on experience using Mailchimp
- Marketing automation skills, including setting up workflows, triggers, and automated journeys
- Marketing analytics skills to track KPIs, interpret campaign data, and generate actionable insights
- Lead generation skills to grow and segment subscriber lists and support sales objectives
- Clear and professional communication skills for writing effective email content and collaborating with internal teams
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS for email editing, and an understanding of deliverability best practices, is beneficial
- Experience in e-commerce or retail marketing, especially in sports or apparel, is an advantage
- A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns on a part-time schedule are essential
