We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player, capable of maintaining high standards of work and coordinating activities to optimize their performance. Additionally, the candidate should promote Unilin’s core values of openness, integrity, adaptability, customer focus, and teamwork.
This is permanent role, consisting of 4 10.5 hours shifts working 06:00-16:30/11:30-22:00.
RESPONSABILITIES
To support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and site services through effective maintenance activities. The Maintenance Technician will conduct planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, identify root causes of failures, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Recognized Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 4 years’ maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Experience using CMMS systems including SAP is desirable.

KEY TASKS AND DUTIES
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment and site services.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records within SAP CMMS.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support machine installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.
- Manage spare parts and report stock requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and standards.
- Promote excellent housekeeping and safe working practices.
- Support achievement of maintenance and production KPIs.
- Provide guidance and support to Apprentices.
- Work flexible hours, shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
- Undertaking training and certification required by the business.
- Perform any other reasonable duties requested by management.
