Mode of Work: Hybrid – 2 or 3 days onsite in a week

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with datasets, VSAM files, and DB2 tables for reading and updating data.
  • Create and run batch jobs and check outputs against expected results.
  • Debug program abends and data issues using dumps and logs with guidance.
  • Write test cases and run programs in the test region before promotion.
  • Handle CICS online transactions for interactive screens under guidance.
  • Fix defects raised in testing and production support and add safeguards.
  • Document program logic, job flows, and test evidence for the team.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Endevor
  • Strong experience in Mainframe
  • Working knowledge of COBOL and JCL
