Maintenance & Asset Coordinator | Pharma | Hertfordshire | Permanent
Location: Hertfordshire (on-site)

My client is a leading research-based pharmaceutical organisation with a patient-first philosophy. They're recruiting a Maintenance & Asset Coordinator to own their CMMS and keep maintenance compliance, asset management, and engineering performance running smoothly across the site.
The role
- Administer and maintain the CMMS, keeping asset records, maintenance schedules, equipment hierarchies, and work orders accurate, compliant, and up to date
- Develop and optimise preventative maintenance programmes
- Oversee the maintenance service desk, making sure requests are logged, prioritised, and progressed on time
- Monitor compliance, work order completion, and backlog, escalating risks where needed
- Manage asset registers across the full lifecycle: creation, modification, replacement, and disposal
- Produce and present maintenance and asset performance reports with clear insights and recommendations
- Support internal and external audits
- Act as the CMMS subject matter expert, providing user support, training, and troubleshooting
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Compliance teams

About you
- Proven CMMS experience (Maximo, SAP PM, EAM, Concept, or similar), ideally in a regulated environment
- Experience administering maintenance and asset management systems
- Knowledge of preventative and corrective maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and compliance requirements
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills for reporting and data analysis
- Experience supporting audits through accurate records and documentation
- A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams

Desirable:
- A pharma, life sciences, or other GMP-regulated background
- Knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance
- Experience with CMMS implementations, upgrades, or data migrations
- Familiarity with change control, deviations, and CAPA
- Continuous improvement experience
