About The Role

Pertemps are currently supporting a key client who are looking for a maintenance and groundskeeper to join their team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance on the site, ensuring safety for all visitors and staff. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including general maintenance, plumbing, painting, groundskeeping and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance across the building, including replacing light bulbs, electrical fixtures and ensuring the office is in working order.
- Carry out routine checks on the facilities, highlighting any defects or health and safety concerns, logging these and scheduling repairs.
- Deal with contractors coming onto site, ensuring they have signed in.
- Perform fire alarm testing ensuring they are fully operational.
- Carry out minor plumbing repairs, fixing leaks, unclogging drains.
- Support with any painting or decorating duties.
- Assist with the upkeep of the HVAC system, ensuring it is fully functional.
- Keep accurate records of any maintenance work carried out.
- Respond efficiently and quickly to emergency repairs.
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, litter picking and cleaning of hard surfaces.
- Contribute to the Legionella testing compliance program, ensuring that water systems are regularly checked and maintained according to safety standards.

Candidate Requirements
- Experience working in a similar role previously.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Clean, valid driving licence.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
