Role Description
The Maintenance Apprentice role is a full-time, on-site position located in Coventry. The apprentice will support the maintenance team with day-to-day tasks such as routine inspections, basic repairs, and assisting with upkeep of common areas and building systems.

Responsibilities
- Learning how to identify maintenance issues
- Reporting faults
- Helping carry out planned and reactive work under supervision
- Using tools and equipment safely
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
- Following health and safety procedures
The apprentice will receive off-site workshop training and workplace experience to develop practical skills, gain experience in residential property maintenance, and work collaboratively with colleagues and residents.
Qualifications
- Ability to learn and apply core maintenance skills.
- Basic Troubleshooting skills and a willingness to diagnose and report issues accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused approach when interacting with residents.
- Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a full-time on-site role.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training or qualifications in building or property maintenance.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom; prior experience in maintenance or a related field is an advantage but not required.
