We are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Buildings and Facilities team.
Reporting to the Building and Facilities Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality reactive and planned maintenance services across our halls of residence and off-campus properties.

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Buildings and Facilities team. Reporting to the Building and Facilities Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality reactive and planned maintenance services across our halls of residence and off-campus properties.
You’ll be responsible for first-fix repairs, compliance tasks, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. The team currently consists of 12 members, with additional temporary staff and contractors joining during peak summer periods.

We’re looking for someone with:
- Trade/maintenance knowledge and experience (preferably with recognised qualifications)
- A good working knowledge of digital systems
- Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
