Job Description
Cygnet have been providing a national network of high quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll help provide a safe & healthy environment for our patients & service users.
You’ll be working Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm (40) hours a week in a hospital that offers CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, General Acute and Low Secure services across four wards which provide a defined treatment pathway from admission through to intervention and discharge including rapid assessment and treatment.

Your Day To Day
- Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service
- Carry out a range of tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting & general building, grounds work
- Maintain plant and services in working order
- Comply with safe working practices & report faulty equipment & potential hazards
- Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance checks as per schedule, document findings and report required actions
You Are
- Skilled at DIY & general maintenance
- Experienced in all types of painting and decorating in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Hold a full valid driving licence
- Able to communicate at all levels & record detailed, accurate maintenance information
- Preferably Level 2 Diploma qualified in Maintenance/Painting & Decorating
- Friendly, conscientious & an excellent team member with a positive attitude
