Maintenance Coordinator UK

We are recruiting a Maintenance Coordinator UK to join our Head Office in London. Reporting to the EU Maintenance Manager, working closely with internal departments including Store Operations, Facilities, and Office teams, as well as external suppliers and vendors.
This is an opportunity for someone with experience in retail maintenance who is passionate about delivering safe, efficient and high-quality environments for both customers and colleagues. Supporting the UK Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate maintenance activities across stores and Head Office, manage contractors and compliance requirements, oversee maintenance requests through Service Channel, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for a highly organised, proactive and adaptable individual with strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset and the flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Ireland. Experience in HVAC, electrical systems or building services would be an advantage.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Coordinate and prioritise maintenance requests across stores and Head Office, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
- Manage the Service Channel platform, tracking and resolving maintenance issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess facilities, identify maintenance needs and build strong operational knowledge.
- Coordinate external contractors and service providers, including HVAC, maintenance and inspection partners.
- Support compliance, statutory inspections and Health & Safety requirements, ensuring corrective actions are completed on time.
- Manage maintenance tenders and supplier relationships to deliver quality, value and cost efficiency.
- Respond to store incidents and property damage, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills, Experience and Attributes
- 3+ years Experience in retail maintenance.
- Strong understanding of building maintenance, compliance and Health & Safety requirements.
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and external service providers.
- Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the ability to respond effectively to urgent issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Ireland.
- Experience with HVAC, electrical systems or building services would be advantageous.
- Fluent English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
