Equans is looking for a Maintenance Craftsperson to join our team in Barnet Hospital. This is a full time, permanent role with participation in a 24 hour on call rota. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintain HVAC, gas, steam, medical gas and plant room equipment
- Carry out inspections, testing, repairs, refurbishment and minor new works
- Work safely with colleagues, contractors and other trades while supporting junior team members

Who are you?
- Experienced in maintaining mechanical and electrical plant, equipment and building services
- Skilled in planned maintenance, reactive repairs and breakdown response
- Knowledgeable in HVAC, gas, steam, medical gas and plant room systems
- Able to complete PAT and support statutory testing in line with BS 7671
- Practical and confident using tools and equipment for repairs and minor fabrication
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Safety conscious, reliable and willing to complete required training
- Able to support the training and supervision of junior colleagues
- Willing to participate in the on call rota and occasional overtime
- Able to drive a company van when required
