Maintenance Electrician
Static Site | Regent's Park, London (NW1)
£41,000 - £45,000 per annum
Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm / 11:00am - 7:00pm
Overtime paid at 1.5x rate
Occasional Weekend Work (with a weekday provided in lieu)
I am working with a prestigious London-based organisation that is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join its established Estates and Facilities team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional looking to work within a high-profile, stable environment where quality, customer service and professional standards are highly valued. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving electrical systems across the estate, responding to reactive issues, carrying out planned maintenance and supporting continuous improvement projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and will be comfortable working in occupied, customer-facing environments such as universities, schools, hospitals, airports, commercial offices or similar facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Diagnose and rectify faults across lighting, emergency lighting and power systems.
- Undertake electrical installation works as required.
- Support the safe and efficient operation of site-wide electrical infrastructure.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors and building users.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety and compliance requirements.
Person Specification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working in a customer-facing maintenance environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to team working.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Competent IT skills and experience using workplace systems and databases.

Essential Technical Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience working within a building maintenance environment.
- Proven experience with lighting and emergency lighting maintenance and installation.
- Experience working on both 230V and 400V systems.
- Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Experience using CAFM systems.
Additional Information
Please only apply if you are able to commute to NW1, London on a daily basis and are comfortable with the advertised salary range of £41,000 - £45,000 per annum.
