Meridian are working with a well-established M&E contractor in the North-west who predominantly work across areas such as Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool, Wigan, and Blackburn. With a wide variety of work on commercial contracts in the area, there are plenty of additional earning possibilities as well as a strong benefits package. Requirements for this role
- Qualified Electrician - Installation or Approved Electrician JIB Gold card
- 2391 or equivalent Inspection and Testing qualifications desirable but NOT essential
- Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and fault-finding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- You would need to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
- Full and valid UK Driving Licence

Duties
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
- Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance for example EICR Testing, Emergency Lighting Testing, DB health checks
- Installing, upgrading, and maintaining electrical equipment
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests
- Ensuring compliance with all electrical and safety regulations
