MaintenanceElectrician

Meridian are working with a well-established M&E contractor in the North-west who predominantly work across areas such as Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool, Wigan, and Blackburn. With a wide variety of work on commercial contracts in the area, there are plenty of additional earning possibilities as well as a strong benefits package. Requirements for this role

  • Qualified Electrician - Installation or Approved Electrician JIB Gold card
  • 2391 or equivalent Inspection and Testing qualifications desirable but NOT essential
  • Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and fault-finding
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
  • You would need to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
  • Full and valid UK Driving Licence

Duties

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
  • Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance for example EICR Testing, Emergency Lighting Testing, DB health checks
  • Installing, upgrading, and maintaining electrical equipment
  • Responding to reactive maintenance requests
  • Ensuring compliance with all electrical and safety regulations
