MTrec recruitment are proudly representing our industry leading, high volume manufacturing client in their search for a talented and experienced maintenance electrician. The business is a highly successful manufacturer and are ideally located in the Peterlee area.
The role will be working a permanent day shift, Monday to Friday.

The Job you will do:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and carry out reactive repairs on production machinery.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults to reduce downtime.
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to maintain safe, efficient operations.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.

About you:
- Experience in a FMCG related or high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- You will be a time served maintenance professional- preferably electrically biased.
- PLC fault finding skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
- Ideally you will hold an 18th edition qualification, but this is not essential
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
