Job Title
MONDAY - FRIDAY 08:45am – 04:45pm*
Flexible start and finish times may be available in line with operational requirements.
About the Opportunity
Glasgow Clyde College has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the Estates, Facilities and Energy department. This is a varied position which offers the chance to use your skills within a varied and rewarding environment, supporting the College's students, staff and communities across our campuses while benefiting from a strong work-life balance and excellent employment benefits.
Responsibilities
- Working within a busy facilities team, the post-holder will provide a professional service across all campuses, installing, maintaining and testing the College's electrical services.
- Provide proactive advice and technical support on maintenance regimes for these services.
- Undertake project work.
- Contribute directly to the safe and effective operation of the College's learning environments.

Requirements
- Qualified electrician who has completed a recognised apprenticeship with industry experience.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Knowledge and professional skills associated with the latest edition of IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good teamwork.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Valid Electrician's Grading Card (to be brought to interview for verification).
- Full UK driving licence required.
