Electrical Engineer (Static) — Blackburn £41,000 - 37 hours a week

A leading FM provider has a need for an experienced Electrical Engineer to come and join a well-established static contract based in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company renowned for their internal progression, training, and long-term stability.

On offer is a competitive salary working Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:00, 37 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Helpdesk; including but not limited to fault finding, test, repair, and preventative maintenance of electrical building services equipment
  • To participate in the emergency call-out rota as required
  • To carry out tasks within typical plant room environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders. All access equipment and PPE will be provided
  • Keep and maintain all company-issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner

Qualifications

  • Full electrical qualifications to a minimum — City & Guilds or equivalent
  • City & Guilds / NVQ — Electrical Installation or Maintenance
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • Building services knowledge
