Maintenance Electrician

East London

£45,000 + £4,000 Shift Allowance

4 on, 4 off Days

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading service provider at a healthcare site in East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking to work within a stable and professional environment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a critical facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and compliance documentation.
  • Support the wider engineering team in delivering a high-quality service.

Requirements

  • Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, 18th Edition or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance electrician position.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Good understanding of compliance, safety standards, and building services maintenance.
