- Schedule: Mon to Fri, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (can consider earlier start and finish)
- Salary: 40 - 42k
- Overtime: Some overtime available
- Call Out: No call out
- Location: Single site in East Kilbride, opposite the Hospital
About the Role
Here at ISS, we are looking to recruit a qualified Electrician to join our maintenance contract in East Kilbride, directly opposite the hospital.
In this role, you would work as part of a 3-person strong engineering team across the site, which is a major Government office facility. Your responsibilities would include delivering electrical Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Reactives across the site, as well as completing non-electrical jobs spanning mechanical and building fabric.
There will also be training to complete to become Electrical AP, and you would escort subcontractors and complete small project/installation works.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for electrical and mechanical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that customer expectations are exceeded on the containment buildings and the associated Effluent Treatment Plant.
- Responsibility for the ETP system maintenance during the planned shutdown periods, ensuring the tasks are completed in accordance with the current contract, providing assurance, and all required reports.
- To provide callout response for the client as detailed by the supervisor and out of hours by the ISS shift team.
- To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including mentoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that the relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work.

Requirements
- Electrical qualifications and good experience
- Ability to pass SC clearance
