A varied, hands-on electrical role
As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for the inspection, testing, and repair of electrical machinery and equipment used throughout the technical trade workshops, offices, and classrooms.

You'll also carry out electrical installation works in support of the training requirements, giving you the opportunity to work across a varied range of systems and equipment rather than carrying out the same tasks every day.
Your work will include:
- AC/DC motors and generators
- Maintenance and operation of LV switchgear
- Control gear and equipment
- Electric portable tools
- Welding machines
- Workshop wiring and distribution systems
- Fault finding on controls and equipment
What are we looking for?
You'll need to hold relevant electrical qualifications such as C&G, NVQ, and 18th Edition IET Regulations, alongside suitable practical electrical maintenance experience.
