£39,300 base salary plus on call and shift rates totalling earnings at £43,000
Single site based in north Edinburgh
Mon to Friday Day Shift Pattern (Alternating earlies and lates) 7:30 - 15:30PM and week after 2PM - 9PM
Plus 1 weekend a month (either all on Saturday or split between Saturday and Sunday)
1 week in 6 call out at site at £150 retainer plus 4 hrs paid if called out
Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider we are looking to recruit a Shift Electrician to join our maintenance team dedicated to our client's site in North Edinburgh. The site is two buildings, a corporate office and manufacturing centre with Clean Rooms. The client are a renowned Defence Sector company.
Working in your engineering shift team on a Monday to Friday basis (earlies and late shifts, all within the day, no night work) you will complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks with an electrical focus, but with some mechanical and fabric repairs across the site's general facilities. There will also be some minor power install works.

This is a fantastic role for a qualified 18th Edition Electrician to develop their abilities within commercial building maintenance.
Actions will include:
- All Planned Maintenance and Reactive tasks to be carried out to the highest standards and delivered within the requirements of the Service Level Agreements.
- Active involvement in day-to-day operation of the building services plant and equipment.
- Effective fault finding on building services plant and equipment.
- Carry out / assist in all minor new works including system installations and refurbishments as required.
- Coordination of sub-contractor activities.
- Participate in the shift and standby / callout rota if required.
- Recommend plant / efficiency improvements

- To be a qualified electrician, ideally some maintenance experience and to be able to pass a security vetting process
