gap technical are proud to be representing this National manufacturing business in their search for a Multi Skilled Electrically Biased Engineer to work at their facility based near Ellesmere Port

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver preventative and predictive maintenance activities
  • Diagnose faults, including PLCs and electrical systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, TPM, Kaizen)
  • Contribute to equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning
  • Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and performance

Candidate Requirements

  • NVQ Level 4 / HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 18th Edition (or equivalent)
  • Multi-skilled experience with strong fault-finding capability
  • PLC diagnostics and ladder logic experience
  • Proactive approach with a focus on improvement and reliability
