Maintenance Engineer
Birmingham | £57,863 + overtime | 4 on, 4 off: rotating days and nights | Permanent
Want job security, modern kit and a team that people don't leave? A major 24/7 operation in Birmingham is growing its engineering team and needs another Maintenance Engineer. The established team has been there for years, and that says a lot about the place.
The role
- Keep high-volume automated systems running, including conveyors, carousels, X-ray machines and the control systems behind them
- Respond to breakdowns and fault-find quickly to keep the operation moving
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance
- Get involved in project work as the site grows

You'll need
- A Level 3 apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
- Experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, with either a mechanical or an electrical bias
- Knowledge of conveyors and automated systems; carousels, X-ray or controls experience is a bonus
- The right attitude. Your background matters less: manufacturing, logistics and ex-forces engineers are all welcome
- The ability to pass security vetting.
