Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - £58,000

We're working with a well-established production company commutable from Grantham, Sleaford, Lincoln, or Newark area, that's on the lookout for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly, this could be just what you're after.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Keeping the plant ticking over with regular planned maintenance and quick, effective repairs when things go wrong.
  • Getting stuck into improvement projects - whether it's new kit installations or tweaking existing machinery for better performance.
  • Diagnosing faults and fixing issues before they become big problems.
  • Working closely with other teams to keep everything running safely and efficiently.
  • Making sure Health & Safety and hygiene standards are always met.

What We're Looking For

  • Around 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing or a similar setting.
  • One or more of the following qualifications:
    • City & Guilds in Engineering (or equivalent)
    • HNC or NVQ Level 3 (Electrical or Mechanical)
    • 18th Edition Wiring Regs (ideal if you're electrically biased)
  • A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and steam systems.
  • Someone who's practical, resourceful, and not afraid to get stuck in.
  • Good communication skills - you'll be working with different teams and suppliers.
