ProAmpac Grimsby Ltd, part of a fast-growing international packaging manufacturing group, is continuing to grow and is looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Applicants will be responsible for machine and building services maintenance and ensuring that all equipment and services are maintained in accordance with manufacturers' and company requirements. Assisting in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. Previous experience of working in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years is essential.
Responsibilities
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment used in packaging production lines.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in motors, drives, PLC-controlled systems, sensors, and control panels.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure equipment safety, reliability, and compliance with standards.
- Install, modify, and commission new machinery and electrical systems as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and spare parts usage.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
