Maintenance Engineer
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: up to £47k
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established manufacturing business currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repair, fault finding and continuous improvement activities across a wide range of automated production equipment.
Working closely with production teams, you will ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and operating at optimum performance levels.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects.
- Minimise downtime through effective fault finding and root cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system.
Requirements
- Qualification in Engineering ideally electrical
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
- Understanding of PLC logic and automated systems.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
