Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established British manufacturing business with an outstanding reputation and exciting long-term growth plans. This role offers an initial 18-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of extension up to three years and potential permanent opportunities as the company continues to expand its operations.
Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient production through a proactive reliability-led maintenance strategy. The successful engineer will be responsible for maximising equipment availability, improving asset performance, reducing repeat failures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and packaging operations.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Experience within Food, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated environments.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement projects.
- PLC fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Will Benefit From
- £45,559.25 annual salary including shift allowance.
- Initial 18-month fixed-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension up to three years.

- 6.4 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays, pro rata).

Shift Pattern
Initially working Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm before moving onto a rotating 3-shift pattern:
- Week 1: 6am – 2pm
- Week 2: 8am – 4pm (or 7am – 3pm depending on business requirements)
- Week 3: 2pm – 10pm
