Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and working a continental shift, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach.

Key tasks & Activities

  • Day to day maintenance of all plant equipment on site
  • Maintaining PPM schedules, work procedures and involvement in continuous improvement activities
  • Reactive and pro-active maintenance
  • Utilising our Enterprise Resource Software (SAP) to keep up to date machine works history, spare parts consumption and PPM planning.
  • Liaising with Team Leaders and Management to effectively organise reactive/pro-active and PPM schedules to cause minimal disruption to site operations

Who we are looking for…

  • Electrically biased with strong Mechanical skills or;
  • Mechanical biased with electrical skills (qualifications)
  • Good logical thought process in regards to fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLC’s and Inverter drives would be advantageous.
  • Experience of Blow Moulding and Packaging machines would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Excellent Team skills
  • Good communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position
  • Full training will be given to the right candidate.
