At Winbro, we are at the heart of the green hydrogen revolution enabling production of next generation fuel cells with our ultra fast laser drilling and welding technologies. Our technology is capable of producing highly complex micro parts to micron level accuracies, creating a revolution in personalised drug delivery and medical care. Our equipment can produce highly complex semiconductor parts, enabling next level efficiencies in electronics manufacturing.

JOIN US as a Maintenance Engineer, based at our Shepshed manufacturing facility, and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy.

This role will focus on planned maintenance and continuous improvements within our fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role will have responsibility for the efficient availability, uptime, and effectiveness of all plant onsite, whilst upholding all regulatory requirements. Prior experience working within aerospace production, volume manufacture and new product introduction will help in this role.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Assist the maintenance team leader in the day to day activities of the maintenance team.
  • Work proactively and reactively within the production area, fixing production breakdowns and carrying out Planned & Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
  • Monitor and improve the plant, where necessary, including designing a working solution.
  • Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule, liaising with the maintenance team leader and production personnel, to ensure tasks are completed when required.
  • Maintain machine repair log documenting repair, cost and downtime utilising the FiiX system.
  • Building maintenance to be conducted as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, always.

Qualified to a minimum of HND level, we are looking for someone with 2+ year's experience of maintaining and working with PC based CNC machine tools, drive systems, EDM, Milling or VIPER Grinding. The successful candidate will have a mechanical or electrical bias but must at a minimum have basic electrical knowledge.
