Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,000
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable, days-based role with a well-established business.
The Role
You will be responsible for keeping production machinery and site equipment running efficiently, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment
- Responding to and resolving breakdowns quickly and effectively
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Carrying out repairs, modifications and improvements to machinery
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a hands-on engineer with a strong background in a manufacturing or industrial environment. You should have:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Engineer
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working with industrial production machinery
- A good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
- The ability to work independently and prioritise workload
- Relevant electrical/mechanical qualifications are advantageous
