Salary: £48,443 per annum + benefits
Shifts: Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30 / 14:00-22:30

About the Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for an automated warehouse based in Northampton. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the fast flowing material handling equipment as well as:
- Delivery of key service elements such as planned preventative maintenance, fault rectification, and fault eradication
- Ensuring all aspects of their working day are logged as per the agreed method
- Fully interacting with the customer in day-to-day activities
- Identifying and resolving issues with the materials handling equipment, including identification of root causes, working proactively with the customer operations team
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and submitting proposals
- Effectively communicating throughout the team and with the customer

Requirements:
- ONC/HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or PLC Engineering
- Recognised cross training from Mechanical to Electrical Engineering or vice versa
- PLC knowledge and experience is advantageous
- Health and Safety Qualifications desirable
- Experience of automated materials handling equipment
- Ability to work at height
- Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills desirable
- Good team working skills
