Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Leicester

Salary: £57,500 Basic + OTE £65,000+

Shift Pattern: 5 on 5 off and 4 on 4 off Suez Shifts (Days & Nights)

What You'll Be Doing

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of a wide range of automated production equipment, including:

  • Automated production machinery
  • Conveyors and material handling systems
  • Presses and manufacturing equipment
  • Robotics and automated systems
  • Electrical and mechanical plant equipment

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to equipment breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
  • Working on 3-phase systems, motors, sensors and control equipment
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
  • Contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the site

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a positive team player who enjoys working within a collaborative maintenance environment and is keen to develop their skills.

Essential Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification at Level 3 or above (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled)
  • Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a 5 on 5 off and 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern
