Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a role with a well known FMCG Manufacturer where you can make a real impact?

We're partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Corby to recruit multiple Maintenance Engineers to join their established engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, fast-paced production environment, playing a key role in keeping operations running efficiently while contributing to ongoing improvements across the site.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and supporting the site's operational performance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults, including PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
  • Working closely with production teams to maximise efficiency.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with food manufacturing standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
  • Previous experience within an FMCG, food manufacturing or other fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working with conveyors, packaging machinery, motors, sensors and control systems.
  • A proactive approach with a strong focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
