The Role

This role offers hands-on involvement in maintaining and improving plant performance, alongside access to industry-recognised training including working at heights, confined spaces, and advanced diagnostic techniques.

Salary for this role £44,270 - £48,837 per annum.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of machinery and equipment
  • Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, minimising downtime
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Work collaboratively with the production and engineering teams to ensure machinery is operating at peak performance
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement projects and machine upgrades
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and support compliance with health and safety standards

What You'll Need

  • Ability to work a Panama shift pattern - 2-week rotation of days and nights. 2-2-3 cycle
  • A recognised qualification in Engineering (BTEC HNC)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and principles
  • Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts and support occasional out-of-hours maintenance if required
