Maintenance Engineer
Location: Bilston
Continental Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 2 days 2 nights
Salary: £46,000 + Pension + Benefits

The Company
Based within one of the UK's leading food manufacturing companies our client is a highly profitable and robust company, with over 30 years of manufacturing experience. They are looking to further strengthen their maintenance team, with the addition of a machinery operator.

- Food manufacturing experience (preferable)
The Role
With a minimum of a formal apprenticeship the successful candidate will have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules project based work within a highly automated environment, with a multi-skilled pedigree. On a day to day basis, you will be involved working with fast moving PLC controlled equipment so previous experience is essential. You will be working on manufacturing machinery such as mixers, conveyors, robotics, and packaging machinery. The role also requires a proactive approach as you will take part in waste reduction initiatives on site. As part of the maintenance function, you will be actively encouraged to get involved with process improvement initiatives along with planned and preventative maintenance ensuring maximum output and the least amount of disruption to production. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary and the opportunity to progress technically with time.
