Role Description
This full-time, on-site Maintenance Engineer role is based in Greater London. The Maintenance Engineer will inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset life. Daily activities include diagnosing faults, performing scheduled preventive maintenance, completing corrective repairs, and updating maintenance records. The role also involves collaborating with operations staff to plan maintenance work, adhering to safety and compliance standards, and recommending improvements to equipment performance and reliability. The Maintenance Engineer will support continuous improvement initiatives and respond to urgent breakdowns as needed.

- Strong experience in Maintenance Engineering, with practical skills in general Maintenance & Repair.
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance, including troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and perform Preventive Maintenance activities.
- Hands-on Electrical Maintenance skills, including safe work practices and familiarity with relevant standards.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in engineering, maintenance, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe systems of work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals and apply them in practice.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or building services environments is an advantage.
