Maintenance Engineer | Electrical or Mechanical Bias | Full Multi-Skilled Training Provided

Location: Corby
Shift Pattern: Panama (Days or Nights)

Salary:

  • Days: Up to £54,500
  • Nights: Up to £60,000

About the Role

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading FMCG manufacturer based near Corby as a Maintenance Engineer. Whether your background is electrical or mechanical, we'd love to hear from you. Our client is committed to investing in its engineers and will provide the training and support needed to help you become a fully multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.

In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Perform PLC fault finding to input and output level.
  • Ensure all plant and machinery is maintained to a high standard.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

About You

We're looking for engineers with experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or food production environment. You may be electrically or mechanically biased, but you'll be eager to develop your skills and become fully multi-skilled.

Qualifications & Experience

You should have one or more of the following:

  • BTEC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or a Multi-Skilled Engineering qualification.
  • Time-served engineering apprenticeship.
  • HNC/HND in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Maintenance Engineering.

Experience maintaining manufacturing, packaging, or food processing machinery is advantageous.
