We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Telford. This role involves maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.
Location: Telford
Salary: A GBP 48,200
Shift: Rotating 12 Hours
The Role
- Respond to mechanical breakdowns and complete repairs.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Fault find and identify the root cause of equipment issues.
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
- Assist with spare parts management and maintenance records.
- Mentor apprentices or junior engineers where appropriate.

What We're Looking For
- HNC or NVQ Level 4 in an engineering discipline.
- Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical fault finding and repair skills.
- Electrical knowledge or qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Current or recent experience as multiskilled maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, shift engineer, production engineer, service engineer, ppm engineer, reliability engineer
