Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Engineer role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Maintenance Engineer will perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting inspections, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, and supporting production teams to minimize downtime. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, adhering to health and safety standards, and collaborating with other engineers and technicians to improve equipment performance and reliability.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for industrial or commercial properties.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and solution implementation.
- Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance, including planning and executing scheduled service routines.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance skills, such as basic fault finding, wiring checks, and safe work with electrical components.
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC/HND, or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering) is preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing, facilities, or industrial environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe work practices is required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
