Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Gainsborough

Salary: £44,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) - 6AM to 6PM rotating

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy industrial, high-volume manufacturing site. This is a fast-paced, continuous process environment where engineering reliability is critical to maintaining production output.

You will be responsible for electrical fault-finding, breakdown response, and planned maintenance activities across processing and extrusion equipment, supporting continuous improvement and minimizing downtime.

Sector - Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
  • Strong experience working on conveyors.

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Level 3 Engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship (Electrical).
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Experience working within Food, FMCG, Agricultural or Heavy Industrial environments.
  • Physically fit and able (role is demanding).

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:

  • Salary up to £44,000 - with increases in line with training
