Maintenance Engineer Position
We are recruiting for a fantastic Maintenance Engineer to support the smooth running of building and facilities operations for an amazing company based in central Bracknell. The Maintenance Engineer is an important part of the team and is responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing facilities, machinery, and equipment for a fantastic organisation and site.
The position is Monday to Friday, onsite working 40 hours per week. There is also occasional availability/flexibility required for any adhoc overtime projects and also there is a 1 in 3 week on call rota with additional pay for these times.
Salary is up to £40K + additional overtime and on call pay as well as a fantastic pension and overall impressive benefits package!!!

Daily Responsibilities
- Adhere to established Health & safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of safety procedures and when necessary assist in safety training activities as required.
- Carry out and contribute to the planned preventative maintenance schedule (PPM) on systems, equipment, and general facilities in assigned areas.
- Assure that all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently for all requests and PPM requirements.
- Carry out repairs/modifications on existing equipment/systems or install new systems/equipment as necessary.
- Order or initiate ordering of parts, components, assemblies, and general materials needed to complete assignments.
- Carry out mechanical/general building system equipment repairs and services in response to service requests.
- Ensure the site is aesthetically presentable; clean buildings, functional lighting, roads/sidewalks clear, etc.
- Ensure any reactive or urgent problems are reported and resolved in a timely manner in accordance with company SLA's

Requirements
- Hold a demonstrable understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and technical aspects of building maintenance with relevant experience to support this.
- Exposure to working within a commercial environment.
- Skilled in problem solving/troubleshooting.
- Relevant Qualification held within electrical, plumbing, or mechanical sectors.
- A great attitude as well as taking pride in your work.
