Maintenance Engineer

Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire
£49,000 Inclusive Of Shift Allowance
3 on 3 off Permanent Days (6am 6pm)

This company is part of a global organisation who manufacture food products into major retailers such as Subway, McDonalds, Tesco and many more major companies within the industry.

As a business we have annual turnover well in excess of £15m and have reinvested this into our state of the art facility in Burton. Over the last 5 years we have invested over £60m into our plant and boast an incredibly low staff turnover rate within our maintenance team as a result.

We are looking to fill this vacancy as a result of expansion as we transition into a different dedicated nights or days based shift pattern, as the successful engineer you'll be part of a small team of 10 dedicated day shift engineers with plan to expand further in the near future.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
