We're currently recruiting for a number of Maintenance Engineer opportunities across the Somerset and Dorset area.
We're keen to speak with experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers who have a strong mechanical and/or electrical background and enjoy working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
In these roles, you'll play a key part in keeping production equipment running efficiently, responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance and helping to improve equipment reliability across the site.
What you'll be doing:
- Responding to mechanical and electrical breakdowns
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across production machinery
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Identifying root causes of recurring equipment failures
- Working closely with Production and other departments to minimise downtime
- Completing maintenance documentation and updating maintenance systems
- Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and improvement projects where required

What we're looking for:
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Shift Engineer or similar
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working within manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging, process or automated environments
- Experience with equipment such as motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics and automated machinery
- Strong problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills
- A recognised engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a wider engineering team
