About the company
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a state-of-the-art distribution factory, for a company who are taking industry 4.0 by storm. Our client, a giant across the British high street has over recent years invested multi millions in fully automating their site and have teamed up with some of Europe's leading systems integrators to install bespoke first of its kind equipment in the UK. As the online shopping trade continues to boom, a skilled and experience Maintenance Engineer is needed to join their team.
About the role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for completing PPM, reacting to breakdowns and completing remedial repair work in a busy manufacturing environment. This would be on automated heavy plant machinery, including 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, robotics, palletisers, sortation systems, plus more. You will be responsible for fault finding on automated machinery, this would be through various methods, including through siemens PLC.

About you
As a Maintenance Engineer, you would ideally have experience working within an automated or factory environment though any automated engineering/manufacturing environment would be acceptable. You should possess a good level of electromechanical knowledge and be comfortable with fault finding on an array of automated equipment.
- Recognised engineering qualification.
- Experience reacting to breakdowns.
- Be comfortable working within a fast paced environment
- Be happy to work on a days and night's rotation
